There are working 346 maritime pilots. The whole French pilotage organisation represents 32 pilotage stations. Twenty-three stations situated in France and 5 in the French overseas departments, 3 in the French overseas territories and a deep sea pilot’s station. I have sailed with the pilots of France in several areas. In 2008 I sailed with the pilots of Marseille and Nice and in 2012 I sailed with the pilots of Rouen (la Seine) and Le Havre.
