I have been aboard the Russian Tall Ship ‘Sedov’ several times during pilotages, but I have never sailed with full sails. A dream comes true! I am sailing from Kaliningrad (Russia) to Den Helder. I am excited. The Tall Ship ‘Sedov’ will be present during Sail Den Helder 2017 from 22 – 25th of June 2017.
My picture has been used for the website ‘Dry Cargo Conference and Exhibition 2017’. Dry Cargo Conference & Exhibition is the only event that covers the whole supply chain of all major dry bulks. It’s the world leading meeting place for miners, ship owners, operators, charterers, agents, traders, brokers, ports, terminals, logistics providers and bulk materials handling suppliers. The exhibition is a showcase for port/ terminal technology and operations. The event should take place 1 and 2 of June 2017 in Amsterdam, but was unfortunately postponed until 2018. As in 2013 I am commissioned by Foundation Sail Den Helder 2017 to take pictures during the fantastic event which takes place 22th – 25th of June 2017. The flag ship this year is the clipper brik ‘Morgenster’, length 48 m and width 6,64 m.
